Every buoy, light, and daymark into the harbor.
Every light, in order
Coming into an unfamiliar harbor at dusk is a reading test. Harbor lists every buoy, light, and daymark on the approach, in the order you'll pass them — red, right, returning.
The approach
mark 1 red can, "2", fl R 4s mark 2 green nun, "3", fl G 4s mark 3 red can, "4", fl R 4s light harbor entrance, F R, 6 nm range two fixed whites, 041°
Why it matters
If you can read the marks, the harbor reads like a road. If you can't, every return is a guess. We'd rather you not guess.
